Frozen

Once upon a time
There lived a maiden
with the traits as sour as lime
she felt bitter and deadened

Love she did no longer trust
For her heart was frozen
Her heart once was love-thrust
And then, it was utterly broken...

"What to do in this life?"
She always had to question
"Is it a lesson?"
"Then wouldn't it have been better to be wounded by knife?"

Tears had been shed
Pieces were re-collected
The emotion then was dead
Yes, iced and unwanted

Everything had been temporary
Even the most pulchritude of love could end, sorry
Ended by death, and no more
Empty and overwhelmed with sore

So, the maiden made up her mind
Her heart should not melt to 'love'
And that this would make her fine
Only she could never laugh

To her ending, there was no happiness
She was then gone with emptiness
Heart as frozen as ice
No hurt, no heart being sliced...

You see, how life can be meaningless
When we detach
It's just so pointless
not to attach

Don't be stupid
Love is always a process
Attachment is like a bid
for us to take and be a realist

Frozen emotion
What good does it pay?
Tell me for my information
Why do some people choose that way?
